Wildomar teacher's band cuts new educational album - It was time to rock -- and learn -- Friday at Wildomar Elementary School. - Teacher Tim Bedley's fourth- and fifth-grade combination class celebrated the release of his band's new CD in the Rockin' the Standards series, titled "Language Arts." Bedley started the band in 2008 and its first album, "Math" was successful in the children's music genre. On Friday, lead singer Ben Jacobs signed copies of the new CD, led the class in an acoustic version of some songs and posed on the playground for some photos. Students wore their new Rockin' the Standards purple T-shirts. Bedley, who plays drums, also teaches his students how to play an instrument. Information: www.rockinthestandards.com
