| In 1890, William Collier and Franklin Heald joined their two banks together in this building, the Consolidated Bank. This building is still on the corner of Main and Prospect across from the City Park. In 1911 it became the Ambassador Hotel. After World War II, two more floors were added making it the tallest building in Lake Elsinore and the only one with an elevator. Below this once lavish building sits vacant. |
