I feel so fortunate to have had Singin' the Standards referred to me. I know that it is going to help my students remember some of those tougher standards. I introduced the Parts of Speech song on the first day of school. My third graders were very eager to sing along. On the back of my weekly newsletter, I printed the lyrics so that they can sing the song at home with their families. Ü Tomorrow, we'll sing the song many more times. Next week, we're going to learn and sing about the 4 kinds of sentences. I'm sure that song will be a hit too. I have only had this CD for about two weeks and have already integrated three songs into my lessons. It is perfect for third graders. They especially love the quadrilateral song.

my granddaughter is a new teacher. teaches 3rd grade with mostly English learners. all passed the standard 3rd grade test. She cannot praise this CD too much. Taught the spelling part as the district instructed kids didn't get it until she played this CD. Hooray for Tim!!!

After listening to this CD I feel that it is an essential tool for any classroom where interactive learning is a priority. This CD is really catchy and fun for the students. I've only had it two weeks, but we've already used the Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homonyms and some of the times tables. I've shared it with colleagues and copied the lyrics for my students. What a great tool to help kids remember the standards in an enjoyable way!

With all the pressures of state testing, teachers have to focus so much on academics that there seems to be no time for fun. This CD is a great way to teach students and have fun at the same time. Singing is an excellent memorization tool, and the students don't even realize they're exercising their brains. Using this CD is the perfect way to reinforce concepts, liven up a boring school day, and show students that learning can be enjoyable.

I'm in Mr. Bedley's class and I sing these songs to make me learn more. I like sharing these songs with other children so they can learn more and it makes me happy to hear other kids in other classes sing Mr. Bedley's songs. My most favorite song is the writers song and it sounds right to me. These songs are really good for our brains.

My child has had a lot of difficulty learning. She has had wonderful Teachers every year, but still she has struggled. We have listened to this CD and learned all these songs. And for the first time my daughter is getting good grades without struggling. Now she is having fun learning. She understands perpendicular, quadrilateral, antonyms, homonyms, equilateral, etc., as a result of listening regularly to this CD. She has great confidence now and enjoys teaching these songs to other children. Thank you for this amazing tool. P.S. I catch myself singing these songs when the kids are not around. I'm not quite sure I like that.:)

My second grade class really enjoys the upbeat music. The songs have catchy tunes and really stick with you (whether you want them to or not. I find myself singing about prefixes and plural words. These songs have helped my class remember the concepts they are learning. Very well done!
